LET’S PLAN YOUR RENTAL
A few details help us recommend the right equipment. This is a quote request, not a reservation or payment.
Not sure which radio you need? Describe your site and we’ll help you choose.
info@walkietalkiedepot.comA temporary radio setup can help a team coordinate an event or cover a short-term staffing need without buying equipment for every user. Tell us who needs to communicate, where they will work and how long the radios will be needed.
Plan communication for check-in, parking, security, catering and operations. Share the venue layout, indoor and outdoor areas, shift lengths and whether staff need discreet earpieces or headsets.
Describe buildings, floors, terrain and the distance between work areas. Tell us about machinery noise, existing radio systems and any site requirements so we can review the right equipment and accessories.
Request radios for temporary staffing, facility projects or a short-term increase in headcount. We can review compatibility with your existing radios before you reserve a rental setup.
The number of radios and rental length are the starting point. Frequency band, analog or digital operation, programming, accessories and shipping also affect the quote. A five-day minimum applies, even when the event is shorter. Weekly and extended rentals are quoted for the requested dates.
Speaker mics can help staff keep a radio on their belt; headsets and earpieces may suit different noise and privacy needs. Spare batteries and multi-unit chargers depend on shift length, charging access and the number of users. Ask us to confirm every accessory against the rental radio model.
Walkie Talkie Depot is based in Louisville, Kentucky. Share your event or job-site city, state and ZIP code, along with your delivery deadline. We will confirm availability, shipping arrangements and return dates in your quote. Coverage depends on the site and equipment; a distance estimate alone cannot confirm it.
Explore the basics before your call, or send us your requirements and we will help you choose.
Yes, you can request radios for a shorter event. The supplier program has a five-day minimum charge. Include your actual first and last days of use so we can confirm preparation, delivery and return timing.
Compatibility must be checked before booking. Send the full radio model numbers, frequency band, analog or digital format and any programming information you have. Radios that look similar are not necessarily compatible.
Start with the number of staff who need a radio at the same time. Tell us about shifts, operating hours and charging opportunities so we can discuss spare batteries, chargers and any extra radios your plan may need.
Yes. Include your hazardous-location classification and approved equipment requirements in the quote form. Availability and the exact radio, battery and accessory configuration must be reviewed before equipment is reserved.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Review the rental process before you book. Your written quote and rental agreement identify the equipment, exact charges and dates that apply to your order.
A five-day minimum applies. Shorter events are welcome, but billing starts at the five-day minimum. Weekly and extended rentals are quoted for the requested period.
A battery, antenna, belt clip and an agreed charging arrangement. Request individual chargers if needed. Your quote specifies whether an audio accessory is included and lists all additional equipment.
Round-trip freight is quoted separately. Your confirmation specifies delivery, first and last use dates, and the return carrier handoff deadline. Any transit-time allowance must be confirmed in writing; delays outside that allowance may incur additional rental charges.
Allow preparation and shipping time. Typical supplier preparation is 48 hours without supplier programming or 72 hours with programming, subject to availability. These are not delivery guarantees. Requests requiring shipment within 24 hours may carry an expedite fee.
Payment is due before delivery unless written credit terms are approved. A quote request does not reserve equipment. Your confirmation states the payment schedule and any deposit requirement before you accept.
Return all original radios, batteries, accessories and chargers; substitutes are not accepted without written approval. Repairable damage may incur a $95 labor charge plus parts. Lost or irreparable equipment is charged at the replacement values disclosed in your rental agreement. Report problems promptly.
Obtain written approval before changing programming or extending a rental. Do not add password protection. Password removal or restoration may incur service fees. Extensions and late-return charges are confirmed in your agreement; an early return does not automatically reduce an agreed rental charge.
Ask us before changing or canceling a confirmed booking. Your written quote will specify cancellation deadlines, any nonrefundable preparation or freight charges and the refund schedule before payment.
Coverage depends on building materials, terrain, distance and the radio setup. Share your site details so we can review suitability. Compatibility with existing radios and any licensing arrangements must be confirmed before use.
Only use a configuration approved for the specific hazardous location, including its battery and accessories. Your site safety contact must provide the requirements and confirm suitability. We do not treat “intrinsically safe” and “explosion proof” as interchangeable descriptions.
